One Man Band (Miles Kane Album)
''One Man Band'' is the fifth studio album by English rock musician Miles Kane, released on 4 August 2023 by Modern Sky. It was written by Kane in late 2022 on guitar mainly in Northern England. It was produced between December 2022 and January in Liverpool by Kane's cousin and The Coral's frontman, James Skelly, alongside guest musicians including Tom Ogden. The album artwork, is a black and white picture that depicts Kane looking outside a window. ''One Man Band'' goes back to Kane's indie rock roots. Instrumentally, it features mainly guitar, as Kane made a conscious effort to not include any piano or brass. Miles Kane
Miles Peter Kane (born 17 March 1986) is an English singer and musician, best known as a solo artist and the co-frontman of the Last Shadow Puppets. He was also the former frontman of the Rascals, before the band announced their break-up in August 2009. He has focused on a solo career since 2011 and remains a member of the Last Shadow Puppets (2007-present) alongside Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner. The Libertines
The Libertines are an English Rock music, rock band, formed in London in 1997 by frontmen Carl Barât (vocals/guitar) and Pete Doherty (vocals/guitar). The band, centred on the songwriting partnership of Barât and Doherty, included John Hassall (musician), John Hassall (bass), and Gary Powell (musician), Gary Powell (drums) for most of its recording career. Andy Burrows
Andrew William Burrows (born 30 June 1979) is an English songwriter and musician. He is best known as the drummer for Razorlight from 2004 until 2009 before rejoining in 2021. He has also served as the drummer for We Are Scientists from 2009 to 2014. After he left Razorlight in 2009, Burrows went on to enjoy success as a solo artist and a soundtrack composer. Circa Waves are an English indie rock band formed in Liverpool in 2013. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Kieran Shudall, guitarist Joe Falconer, bassist Sam Rourke, and drummer Colin Jones. History Early years (2013) Shudall met both Rourke and Plummer through mutual friends at the annual music festival Liverpool Sound City in 2013, meeting Falconer not long after at the same festival where he worked as a stage manager. Tom Ogden
Blossoms are an English indie rock band from Stockport, Greater Manchester, England. Formed in 2013, the band consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals, guitar), Charlie Salt (bass guitar, backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar, percussion), Joe Donovan (drums) and Myles Kellock (keyboards, synthesizer, backing vocals). They were on the BBC's Sound Of new music list for 2016, finishing in fourth place. Blossoms' self-titled debut album was one of the twelve LPs nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in 2017. Metacritic is an American website that aggregates reviews of films, television shows, music albums, video games, and formerly books.
