''Once in a Red Moon'' (released 2001 by Universal Music – 548 678-2) is the fourth studio album by Secret Garden, excluding the compilation album ''Dreamcatcher'', a Best Of. The second track, " You Raise Me Up", has since been recorded by more than 100 other artists. The first track, "Awakening", was inspired by the 1900 novel of the same name by Kate Chopin. Secret Garden is an Irish- Norwegian band specialised in new instrumental music, led by the duo consisting of Irish violinist and singer Fionnuala Sherry and Norwegian composer, arranger and pianist Rolf Løvland. The RTÉ Concert Orchestra is a professional radio orchestra in Ireland and is part of RTÉ, the national broadcaster. Since its formation as the Radio Éireann Light Orchestra in 1948, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra has grown from a small studio-based recording group to become an active 45-strong orchestra performing over eighty concerts annually. Åsa Tindra Jinder (born 9 October 1963) is a Swedish nyckelharpa player, composer, producer, songwriter, author and lecturer. She has scored Sverigetopplistan, album chart successes in Sweden. Laoise Kelly is a traditional Irish music composer and harpist. She won the 2020 Musician of the Year Award. Biography Laoise Kelly is from Westport, County Mayo. Kelly learned music from her father and began learning the harp from when she was 12. She learned from Ann-Marie Scanlon and Kim Fleming as well as John Hoban. Kelly has been described as the "most significant harper of her generation". She has founded a number of groups including ''Bumblebees'' and ''Fiddletree'' with whom she has several albums each. Stephen Cooney is an Australian-Irish musician. Early life Cooney was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, where he learned to play the didgeridoo, and from the age of seventeen he played in a number of rock bands. He is of Irish ancestry. Mick O'Brien (born March 26, 1961) is an Irish musician. Life Born in Dublin, Ireland, Mick began his musical education on the uilleann pipes in the renowned Thomas Street Pipers Club in Dublin. His father Dinny O'Brien, a traditional "box" player, was also a constant source of tunes and inspiration. Mick recorded his first LP with his family when he was 13 years old. He later joined Na Píobairí Uilleann, an organisation founded to promote piping, where he absorbed hundreds of tunes and refined his technique. His playing can be heard on numerous recordings with artists such as The Dubliners, Frankie Gavin and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. Bjørn Ole Rasch (born 28 July 1959) is a Norwegian artist (keyboards performer), composer, arranger and producer. He is a professor of popular music at the Agder University College. With his wife, Annbjørg Lien, he runs the Kongshavn Studios in Kristiansand. Career Rasch was born in Elverum and raised in Kristiansand. Julian Lloyd Webber (born 14 April 1951) is a British solo cellist, conductor and broadcaster, a former principal of Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the founder of the In Harmony music education programme. Early years and education Julian Lloyd Webber is the second son of the composer and music educator William Lloyd Webber and his wife, Jean Johnstone (a piano teacher).
