Olympia FC Warriors
Olympia Football Club Warriors, known as Olympia FC Warriors, is a professional soccer club based in Hobart, Australia. The club competes in the Southern Championship. The club also fields teams in all junior and youth divisions. Olympia play their home games at Empire Couriers Park, formally known as Warrior Park, in Warrane, Tasmania. History Olympia was formed in 1960 as "The Grecians", and for the most part of their history have been predominantly represented by players of ethnic Greek background. The club headquarters are located at the Hobart Hellenic Club. In 1958 they changed their name to "Olympia" a name which they kept unchanged until 1997, when ethnic affiliations were removed from Australian football. Unwilling to completely depart from their Greek association, the club simply changed 'Olympia' to 'Olympic'. Olympia București
Olympia București was a football club based in Bucharest, in southern Romania. It was founded in 1904 and it soon became one of the best teams in the country, winning two Romanian Championships. The club was dissolved in 1946. History The first football club from Bucharest, founded in October 1904 by young foreigners and a few Romanians from which we can mention: M. Gebauer, L. Breyer, Th. Davilla, the Grunberg brothers, prof. Ioanide, Szalay, Mendel. The club's first president was Mario Gebauer, Lazăr Breyer was the secretary, and capitan of the team Gh. Viereck. The football pitch was the one from ''Bolta rece'' (near the Triumphal arch today). The team participated at the ''Herzog Cup'' along with Colentina București and United Ploieşti, a competition equivalent with the Romanian Championship, the predecessor of the Liga I.
