Oi Kyries Tis Avlis
''Oi kyries tis avlis'' (/ English: Ladies of the Courtyard) is a 1966 Greek film based on the theatrical play ''To ekto patoma'' (''Το έκτο πάτωμα'' = ''The Next Step''). It was made into a movie following the success of the play with Dinos Iliopoulos in 1964 and 1965 at the Gloria Theatre. The movie was filmed in 1966 by Finos Films and sold 338,081 tickets. The film was directed by Dinos Dimopoulos, a student of Iliopoulos at the Dramatic school. Dinos Iliopoulis was rewarded 90,000 drachmas for his role, a high fee at the time. Dinos Dimopoulos
Dinos Dimopoulos (; 22 August 1921 – 28 February 2003) was a Greek actor, film director, screenwriter and theatre director. He directed more than 40 films between 1953 and 1993. His 1959 film '' Astero'' was entered into the 9th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1960 film '' Madalena'' was entered into the 1961 Cannes Film Festival. He wrote also some theatrical plays. He has won the best director award in Thessaloniki Film Festival for the film '' The Asphalt Fever''. Dionysis Papagiannopoulos
Dionysis Papagiannopoulos (; 12 July 1912 – 13 April 1984) was a Greek actor. He was born in Diakopto in the northeastern part of Achaea in 1912. He studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece (Ethniko Theatro) in Athens and made his stage debut in 1938, appearing as the Knight in William Shakespeare's ''King Lear''. He excelled in Shakespeare's ''Hamlet'' as the Grave Digger and in Dimitris Psathas' ''Fonazei o Kleftis'' as General Solon Karaleon. Dimitrios "Mimis" Plessas (; 12 October 1924 – 5 October 2024) was a Greek musician, composer, conductor and pianist. Life and career Plessas was born in Athens.
