Ohio's 16th Congressional District
The 16th Ohio Congressional Districts, congressional district of Ohio is an obsolete United States congressional district last represented by United States House of Representatives, Representative Anthony Gonzalez (politician), Anthony Gonzalez (R). It was last located in the northeast of the state, covering Wayne County, Ohio, Wayne County and with arms extending north into the suburbs of Cleveland, and east into Akron metropolitan area, Greater Akron and Stark County, Ohio, Stark County. The district was eliminated upon the swearing in of the 118th United States Congress on January 3, 2023, as the reapportionment after the 2020 United States census, 2020 census reduced the number of congressional districts in Ohio to fifteen. State Route 16 (SR 16) is an east–west highway running from Columbus to Coshocton. Its western terminus is at Civic Center Drive (formerly U.S. Route 33) in Downtown Columbus, and its eastern terminus is at US 36. For much of its run through Licking County, and its entire run through Franklin County, State Route 16 follows the path of Columbus' Broad Street. West of Drexel Avenue in Bexley, the route is cosigned with U.S. Route 40 until its endpoint just east of the Scioto River.
