Oa is a fictional planet that lies at the center of the DC Comics universe. Since its inception, Oa has been the planetary citadel of the Guardians of the Universe and headquarters of the Green Lantern Corps. It first appeared in ''Green Lantern'' (vol. 2) #1, when the Guardians summoned Hal Jordan's " energy duplicate" so they could hear of his origin. Alex Ross
Nelson Alexander Ross (born January 22, 1970) is an American comic book writer and artist known primarily for his painted interiors, covers, and design work. He first became known with the 1994 miniseries '' Marvels'', on which he collaborated with writer Kurt Busiek for Marvel Comics. He has since done a variety of projects for both Marvel and DC Comics, such as the 1996 miniseries ''Kingdom Come'', which Ross co-wrote. Since then he has done covers and character designs for Busiek's series '' Astro City'', and various projects for Dynamite Entertainment. The Legion of Super-Villains is a team of supervillains who appear in comic books published by DC Comics. They are adversaries of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the future. They first appeared as adults in ''Superman'' #147 (Aug 1961) and as teens in ''Adventure Comics'' #372 (Sept 1968). The team originated at a time when ''Superman'' editor Mort Weisinger was consciously adding new elements to the "Superman mythos" over a period of years, building an extended cast of supporting characters who could provide new story opportunities. Sodam Yat is a fictional character, an extraterrestrial superhero published by DC Comics. He first appeared in '' Tales of the Green Lantern Corps Annual'' #2 (1986), and was created by Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill. Ganthet is a character in the DC Comics universe, who first appeared in 1992 in Larry Niven and John Byrne’s graphic novel ''Green Lantern: Ganthet's Tale'' (). He is also the husband of Sayd.
