Nándor Major (born 28 July 1990) is a Hungarian professional darts player who currently plays in the World Darts Federation (WDF), Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and other national events. Career Major began his career competing in local tournaments. Major competed in the PDC's Qualifying School in 2020, and this has been his international debut. The 2024 PDC World Cup of Darts, known as the BetVictor World Cup of Darts for sponsorship reasons, will be the fourteenth edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It will take place from 27 to 30 June 2024 at the Eissporthalle in Frankfurt, Germany. World Masters (darts)
The World Masters is one of the longest-running and most prestigious of the BDO/WDF tournaments, which began in 1974. The tournament is sponsored by darts board manufacturer, Winmau. The World Masters was unusual in darts in that its sets are the best of 3 legs (first to 2) rather than the standard best of 5 legs (first to 3). It was previously the final leg of the BDO's Grand Slam title of televised majors, along with the BDO World Darts Championship, International Darts League and World Darts Trophy, until the latter two tournaments were axed in 2008. The champion is referred to as the World Master. After the collapse of the British Darts Organisation in September 2020, the World Darts Federation announced plans to launch the WDF World Masters. The 2023 Hungarian Darts Trophy will be the twelfth of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2023 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament will take place at the BOK Sportcsarnok, Budapest, Hungary from 22-24 September 2023. Ricardo Pietreczko
Ricardo Pietreczko (born 20 October 1994), nicknamed "Pikachu", is a German professional darts player who currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is a German Champion and bronze medalist of the WDF World Cup. Career Pietreczko started playing darts at the age of 16 after his father put a dartboard in his room and he trained diligently before and after school. In 2014, he took part in a qualifiers for the PDC European Tour events, but for a long time he was not able to qualify for any international tournament. At the national level, however, he was doing much better. He advanced to the semi-finals of the Super League Darts. In 2016, he took part in the 4 Nations Cup for the Germany team and reached the semi-finals in singles competition, where he lost to Wesley Harms by 3–5 in legs. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, ten in 2016, twelve in 2017, thirteen in both 2018 and 2019, and thirteen once more in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic), and only two events took place in 2021, with a return to thirteen events in 2022. These events see the top players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from six different regional qualifiers. Currently the prize fund for each tournament is £140,000, with £25,000 going to the winner. The 2023 Superbet Poland Darts Masters was the first Professional Darts Corporation tournament organised in Poland, and the fourth entry in the 2023 World Series of Darts. The tournament featured 16 players (eight top-ranking players and eight regional qualifiers) and was held at the Arena COS Torwar in Warsaw, Poland on 7–8 July 2023.
