''NY-LON'' is a 2004 British drama series that aired on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom. The series was created and written by Simon Burke and Anya Camilleri, and starred Rashida Jones and Stephen Moyer. ''NY-LON'' was also broadcast on BBC America in the United States. Navin Chowdhry (born 22nd November 1971 ) is an English actor. He is best known for his roles in ''Teachers'' and '' A Touch of Cloth'', and his role as Nish Panesar in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'' (2022–2025). Early life Chowdhry is of Indian origin. He was born and brought up in Bristol, England. He is the son of Simi Chowdhry, a well-known female activist. Hal Lindes (* 30. June 1953 in Monterey, California) is an American guitarist and film score composer best known for his time as a member of Dire Straits from 1980 until late 1984.
