"Better Than" is a song by Australian band John Butler Trio from their fourth studio album, ''Grand National'' (2007). Produced by John Butler and Mario Caldato Jr., it was released as the album's third single in Australia in August 2007. The single includes two previously unreleased tracks recorded in the ''Grand National'' sessions and a special radio mix version of "Better Than" from Chris Lord-Alge. "Better Than" debuted and peaked at number 16 on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart on 3 September 2007. On the Triple J Hottest 100 of 2007, it ranked in at number four. The Cat Empire
The Cat Empire are an Australian jazz/funk band, formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 1999. For most of the band's duration, the core members were Felix Riebl (lead vocals, percussion), Harry James Angus (trumpet, vocals), Will Hull-Brown (drums), Jamshid "Jumps" Khadiwhala (turntables, percussion), Ollie McGill (keyboards, backing vocals) and Ryan Monro (bass, backing vocals). Monro retired from the band in March 2021, while Angus, Hull-Brown and Khadiwhala all left in April 2022. They are often supplemented by The Empire Horns, a brass instrument, brass duo composed of Roscoe James Irwin, Ross Irwin (trumpet) and Kieran Conrau (trombone), among others. "I Fell In Love With the DJ" is a song by Australian recording artist Che'Nelle from her debut studio album, ''Things Happen for a Reason'' (2007). The song was chosen as her first commercial single release. The song was originally written and recorded by Che'Nelle. Cheryline Ernestine Lim, known by her stage name Che'Nelle, is a Malaysian-Australian singer-songwriter. She gained popularity in Japan with the release of her debut studio album, '' Things Happen for a Reason'' (2007). Early life Cheryline Ernestine Lim was born to a Chinese father, and a mother of Indian and Dutch heritage. Born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Lim and her family moved to Perth, Australia when she was 10 years old.
