North And Central America Constituency (Italy)
The North and Central America constituency is one of the four electoral districts of Italy that compose the Foreign Constituencies. Territory The territory of the North and Central America division includes the countries recognized by the Government of Italy in the regions of North America and Central America, excluding Trinidad and Tobago, which is part of the South America district. Italian citizens residing in overseas countries and territories are instead included within the respective European states of the Europe division, while the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico fall under the jurisdiction of the United States of America. According to the most recent 2016 Italian constitutional referendum, the country with the highest number of registered Italian voters is the United States of America, while the one with the lowest is Dominica. Basilio Giordano (born February 3, 1952) is an Italian and Canadian politician and journalist. He was a city councillor in the Montreal, Quebec borough of Saint-Leonard from 1982 to 1990 and served in the Italian Senate from 2008 to 2013, representing Italian voters in North and Central America as a member of Silvio Berlusconi's People of Freedom party.
