Nõo
Nõo () is a Populated places in Estonia, small borough () in Tartu County, in southern Estonia. It's located about 15 km southwest of the city of Tartu by the Tartu–Valga, Estonia, Valga–Riga railway and the European route E264 (also known as Via Hanseatica). Nõo is the administrative centre of Nõo Parish. As of the 2011 Estonian census, 2011 census, the settlement's population was 1,492. Nõo was first mentioned in 1319 as ''Nughen'' and as a separate church parish in 1483, during the times when it belonged to the Bishopric of Dorpat. Nõo St. Laurence Lutheran Church is believed to have been built around the 1250s to 1260s. According to Bengt Gottfried Forselius schooling took place in Nõo already in 1686. Since 1688 a local parish school has been working in Nõo. In 1953 the primary school was reorganized as a secondary school. ''Creatures the World Forgot'' is a 1971 British adventure film directed by Don Chaffey, produced and written for Hammer Films by Michael Carreras. The film concentrates on the daily struggle to survive of a tribe of Stone Age people. Notably the story is told with minimal dialogue, relying instead on grunts, gestures and physical action. Plot A volcano erupts and an earthquake opens up a crevasse, swallowing up many members of the 'Dark Tribe'. ''Teletubbies'' is a British children's television series created by Anne Wood and Andrew Davenport for the BBC. The programme focuses on four differently coloured characters known as the Teletubbies, named after the television screens on their bellies. National Obesity Observatory
The National Obesity Observatory (NOO) was a publicly funded body that is part of a network of Public Health Observatories across Britain and Ireland. It published data, information, and intelligence related to obesity, overweight, and their underlying causes. NOO is now part of Public Health England who now carry out their work. NOO worked closely with a wide range of organisations to assist policy makers and practitioners who were involved in understanding and tackling obesity at population level. It did this through analysing and interpreting research and data to produce reports and briefings. To support these activities it also produced analytical and data visualisation tools. Noo Saro-Wiwa is a British-Nigerian author, noted for her travel writing. She is the daughter of Nigerian activist Ken Saro-Wiwa. Education Noo Saro-Wiwa was born in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and grew up in Ewell, Surrey in England. She attended Roedean School, King's College London and Columbia University, New York, and currently lives in London.
