Noah ''Nukh''; am, ኖህ, ''Noḥ''; ar, نُوح '; grc, Νῶε ''Nôe'' () is the tenth and last of the pre-Flood patriarchs in the traditions of Abrahamic religions. His story appears in the Hebrew Bible (Book of Genesis, chapters 5–9), the Quran and Baha'i writings. Noah is referenced in various other books of the Bible, including the New Testament, and in associated deuterocanonical books. The Genesis flood narrative is among the best-known stories of the Bible. David and the Giants began as a rock band in Laurel, Mississippi, with the Huff brothers David, Clayborn and Rayborn. Along with Jerry Parker on drums, they toured the Southeast during the 1960s. In 1977, they switched to a Christian rock format. They continued to sing and record together through 1999. Recording and performing together for almost 40 years, the band released 17 albums. ''Noah'' is the second studio album by American rock band The Bob Seger System, released in September 1969. Seger was displeased with the album as it was the label's intention to showcase Tom Neme as the voice of the band. Seger contemplated quitting music altogether after this album. It has never been reissued on a legitimate U.S. CD by Capitol and probably never will be, as Seger disavows it. It does, however, contain the Seger title song, "Noah", which was issued as a single in July 1969. Noah (duo)
Noah stylized as NOAH was the stage name of Danish singer and songwriter Troels Gustavsen. Originally a duo, at the end of 2015 it was announced Lasse Dyrholm had left the group to pursue other creative ventures. Since 2020 Gustavsen has performed under his own name. Dyrholm and Gustavsen met at school in 2008 and started making music together. They released some songs online that proved very popular. They signed with Copenhagen Records in 2011 as well as recording of "Alt er forbi" (meaning Everything is over in English), their debut single on the label that debuted at number 21 on Tracklisten, the official Danish singles chart in February 2012.
