Nogod (stylized as NoGoD) is a Japanese visual kei heavy metal band formed in 2005 by vocalist Dancho. Originally named , the band has been using simply Nogod since signing to the major label King Records in 2010. History 2005–2009: Formation and rise The band was formed in early 2005 by vocalist Dancho, under the name Shinko Shukyo Gakudan NoGoD. They held their debut performance on October 19, at Akasaka L@n, with a lineup consisting of Dancho on vocals, Aki and Kyrie on guitar, Karin on bass, and K on drums. On November 12, the band released their first demo . They spent the rest of 2005 and the beginning of 2006 performing with other bands in Tokyo. In July 2006, the members were signed to Art Pop Entertainment and released two singles, and , the following month. In 2007, guitarist Aki left and was replaced by Shinno. Siam Shade
Siam Shade (stylized as SIAM SHADE) was a five-piece Japanese rock band, formed in Tokyo in 1991. The classic line-up of Hideki on vocals, Natchin on bass, Kazuma and Daita on guitar, and Jun-ji on drums broke onto the visual kei scene alongside a multitude of other artists in the early 1990s and enjoyed a decade of relative popularity. After disbanding in early 2002, the members have reunited several times since 2007 for one-off concerts and short tours. ''OK Music'' described the band's sound as melodic hard rock with flashy twin guitar riffs, and wrote that their greatest strength lies in the interplay between "sweet vocals" and "colorful metal sounds". Saber Tiger
is a Japanese heavy metal band from Sapporo. It was founded in 1981 by guitarist and sole-constant member Akihito Kinoshita - as well as two other musicians - who is responsible for producing, engineering and composing most of the band's work. Biography Saber Tiger was formed by guitarist Akihito Kinoshita and the Iwai brothers in 1981. After releasing three albums through an independent record label, the band had what appeared to be a temporary break-up. However, Kinoshita worked around this and signed a major label contract with Tokuma Japan Communications. Saber Tiger's 1997 major debut album, ''Project One'', thrust the band to the front of the flourishing Japanese metal scene. CLJ Records is a German independent record label formed in 2006 specializing in Japanese visual kei style rock and metal bands. The label was never officially dissolved, but there haven't been any releases in over 10 years. The label had up to 31 bands signed, but it's likely that all of the contracts expired by now. CLJ is a sub division of Colosseum Music Entertainment and their head office is located in Nuremberg Germany. Screaming is an extended vocal technique that is popular in "aggressive" music genres such as heavy metal, punk rock, and noise music. Screamed vocals are usually harsh, loud and aggressive, used to create an angry, emotional or intense tone. It is common in the more extreme subgenres of heavy metal, such as death and black metal, grindcore, as well as many other subgenres.
