Manchu
The Manchus (; ) are a Tungusic peoples, Tungusic East Asian people, East Asian ethnic group native to Manchuria in Northeast Asia. They are an officially recognized Ethnic minorities in China, ethnic minority in China and the people from whom Manchuria derives its name. Niu Chiao
Niu Chiao was an obscure Chinese writer and poet of the 9th century CE. Reputedly, he wrote more than 30 books on a variety of topics. Some of his writings are collected in "Ling Kuai Lu" (about A.D. 879). Yuh-Line Niou (; zh, t=牛毓琳, p=Niú Yùlín; born July 15, 1983) is an American politician who served as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 65th district. Thomas Niu Huiqing (; 18 September 1895 - 28 February 1973) was a Chinese Catholic priest and bishops of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Funing and Yanggu. Biography Niu was born in Xinhe County, Hebei, on September 18, 1895, during the late Qing dynasty (1644–1911). He was ordained a priest on September 30, 1923. On January 12, 1943, he was appointed Apostolic vicariate of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Yanggu in Shandong, and ordained titular bishop on April 4 of that year. When Yanggu became diocese in 1946, he became its first ordained bishop. He left Yanggu during the Chinese Civil War and went to Funing in Fujian in 1948. Niu Zhizhong (; born March 1955) a former officer in the People's Armed Police of China. At the height of his career, he served as deputy commander of the People's Armed Police. He was an alternate of the 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. He was expelled from the Chinese Communist Party in 2016. Niu Yingzhen () was a poet in Imperial China who lived during the 8th century. It was claimed that Niu was able to learn different texts within her dreams. Niu wrote over 100 works and showed talent with composing rhapsodies and odes. Personal life Niu was born sometime during the 8th century in present-day Henan. When she was 13 years old, Niu was already well-read in Buddhist sutras and Confucian literature. According to her biography, Niu was able to learn different texts by dreaming that she ate the actual copies, giving her the ability to discuss literature and philosophy with long-deceased male scholars in her dreams. She was questioned about her dreams when she woke up, to which Niu's response was that she did not know how it happened. Despite this, Niu was able to accurately answer any questions that were asked about texts that she had discussed within her dreams. Niu Xianke
Niu Xianke () (675 – September 2, 742), formally Duke Zhenjian of Bin (), was a general and official of the Chinese Tang dynasty. He served as a chancellor during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang. He took an unconventional path to the position of chancellor by starting as a low-level bureaucrat and gradually getting promoted, rather than going through the imperial examinations, and was known for being careful and obedient to fellow chancellor Li Linfu.
