Nirvaan Nadeem
Nirvaan Nadeem is a Pakistani actor, director and founder/director of Ajoka Institute. As an actor, he has worked on television and theater. He appeared in several Urdu television series including ''Mohabbat Jaye Bhar Mein'', ''Sehra Teri Pyas'' and ''Behkawa'', feature film "Baaji" as well as numerous projects for ISPR including "Ehd-e-Wafa", Shezad Roy/Ayesha Omer music video "Meray Dhol Sipahiya" and drama series "Sehra Teri Pyaas" for Pakistan Rangers. Career The son of playwright, former PTV Deputy MD Shahid Nadeem and TV/theater Director and Ajoka Theatre founder Madeeha Gauhar, Nadeem made his debut from Pakistan Television Corporation, PTV as an actor. He first played the leading role in PTV's ''Sehra Teri Pyas'' alongside Sanam Baloch. He also worked in theater as an actor and director and remained associated with Ajoka Theater which was founded by his mother in 1984. Shahid Nadeem
Shahid Mahmood Nadeem (; born 1947) is a Pakistani journalist, playwright, screenwriter, theater and television director, and a human rights activist. He served as the general manager, program director, and deputy managing director of the Pakistan Television Corporation. He is currently director of the Ajoka Theater and director of the PTV Academy. Early life Shahid Nadeem was born to a Muslim family in 1947, during the partitioning of British India, in Sopore, Kashmir, to a well-known doctor; the family later settled in Lahore, Punjab. Career Nadeem began his career as a human rights and social activist in Lahore. During the era of Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, he was imprisoned three times in 1969, 1970, and in 1979 for his political activism. Madeeha Gauhar (; 21 September 1956 – 25 April 2018) was a Pakistani TV and stage actress, playwright and director of social theater, and women's rights activist. In 1984, she founded Ajoka Theatre where social themes were staged in theaters, on the street and in public places. With Ajoka Theater, she performed in Asia and Europe.
