Nigel Pickard
Nigel Pickard is a British television executive who oversaw the creation and launch of, amongst others, the BBC's children's channels, CBBC and CBeebies and as director of programmes at ITV, was responsible for commissioning some of the UK's most popular shows. He also worked for Zodiak Media, one of the largest independent producers in the world and is currently a Director of Nevision. Career Pickard started his career in the early 1970s, as a film editor and then as a floor manager, working on Thames Television's '' Armchair Thriller'' and the children's series ''Worzel Gummidge'' for Southern Television. In 1981, he was made a director and worked on '' How'' and ''Runaround''. In 1982, Pickard became a senior programme director of the children's department at the newly formed TVS, where his work included ''No73'' and '' Art Attack''. Challenge TV
Challenge is a British free-to-air television channel owned by Sky Group's Sky UK subsidiary, themselves owned by American conglomerate Comcast. The channel is dedicated to game shows from the UK, including acquired classic and contemporary shows. Challenge is currently available on terrestrial television and FAST platforms, such as Samsung TV Plus, along with sister channel Sky Mix. An Irish feed has been available since November 2013 on cable and satellite. It later launched on DTT (Saorview) on 1 February 2023; joining sister channel Sky News on the service. Floogals
''Floogals'' is a British live-action/animated television series aimed at preschoolers, produced by Nevision Studios, Jellyfish Pictures and Zodiak Kids, with concepts from Absolutely Cuckoo. Sprout, a children's TV channel in the United States which commissioned the series, also participated in the production. The series was developed by Ceri Barnes, Lee Walters, Nigel Pickard and Rick Gitelson, from an original idea by Dan Good (who created '' Waybuloo''). Tiny aliens are Fleeker, Flo and Boomer, who find questions and exploring. Production took place in London during 2014 and 2015 with all CGI animation by Jellyfish Pictures. Sky Witness is a British pay television channel owned and operated by Sky, a division of Comcast. The channel primarily broadcasts procedural dramas from the United States aimed at the 18–45 age demographic. Bravo was a British and Republic of Ireland, Irish television channel owned by Living TV Group, a subsidiary of Sky UK, BSkyB. Its target audience was males in their 20s to early 40s.
