Dr. Claude Nigel Byam Davies (2 September 1920 – 25 September 2004) was a British anthropologist and historian who specialised in the study of the cultures of pre-Columbian America, publishing 12 academic works on the Aztec, Inca and Toltec societies. In addition to his academic work, Davies also served with the Grenadier Guards during the Second World War, briefly sat as an MP for Epping and as the managing director of Windowlite Ltd. Justin de Villeneuve (born Nigel John Davies; ) is a British businessman, known for being supermodel Twiggy's manager from 1966 to 1973. De Villeneuve worked as a Mayfair hairdresser under the name Christian St. Forget, before meeting Twiggy as a teenager. They became a couple, and as her career as a model took off, he became her manager and helped to make her famous. Twiggy severed ties with him in 1973 and later downplayed his role in her success. Nigel Gareth Davies (born 29 March 1965) is a former Wales national rugby union team, Wales international rugby union player, who played his club rugby at Llanelli RFC. His son Sam Davies (rugby union), Sam Davies is a professional rugby union player. Davies was born in Waun y Clun, Trimsaran and as a youth player played for local rugby union club Trimsaran RFC. In his final year of playing for the youth team he was invited by Llanelli RFC to play for them in a friendly match, from which he impressed enough to be selected by the club. Davies played 498 games for Llanelli including nine WRU Challenge Cup finals. During his Llanelli career he scored 115 tries and 487 points in total. Nigel also scored 5 tries whilst playing centre for Wales in 29 appearances.
