Nick Kenny (darts Player)
Nicholas Kenny (born 13 March 1993) is a Welsh professional darts player who currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation Events. He took a Bronze medal in the WDF Europe Cup. Career Kenny won the WDF European Cup youth Singles in 2010. In 2016 he qualified for the BDO World Trophy but was defeated by Mark McGeeney 7-6 in the last 16 of the competition, having beaten fifth seed Wesley Harms in the first round. Kenny faced first seed Glen Durrant in the first round of the 2017 BDO World Darts Championship, he lost 3–1. Kenny won a two-year PDC Tour Card on the final day of 2020 Q-School. During his first season he appeared on 2020 UK Open, where he was eliminated in the second round. The BDO World Trophy was a major darts tournament run by the British Darts Organisation, hosted originally in February 2014 at Blackpool Tower, before it was held in May from 2016–18 in various locations. In 2019, it was held in King George's Hall in Blackburn with a three-year contract for the event to be televised by Eurosport. BDO World Darts Championship
The WDF World Darts Championship is a world championship competition in darts, organised by the World Darts Federation. It would previously organised by the British Darts Organisation (BDO), who held it 43 times from 1978 to 2020. The championship was first held at the Heart of the Midlands Nightclub in the English city of Nottingham. The following year it moved to the Jollees Cabaret Club, Stoke, where it stayed until 1985. From 1986 to 2019, it was held at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey. In 2020, the tournament was held at Indigo, part of the O2 entertainment district in London. Until the split in darts, it was the only World Darts Championship tournament. Rowby-John Rodriguez (born 27 March 1994) is an Austrian professional darts player currently playing in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Career In 2010, as a 16-year-old, Rodriguez won the Austrian National Championship by beating Franz Thaler 5–0 in the final. At the second event of Q School in January 2014 he stood one win away from joining the PDC but lost 5–3 to Gerwyn Price. Kai Fan Leung (born 11 September 1983) is a Hong Kong professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events. The 2020 Ladbrokes UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the eighteenth year of the tournament where players compete in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held for the seventh time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 6–8 March 2020, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw is staged after each round following the conclusion of the third round until the final. Nathan Aspinall was the defending champion after defeating Rob Cross 11–5 in the 2019 final. However, he lost 10–8 to Michael van Gerwen in the fourth round.
