Newark Castle Railway Station
Newark Castle railway station is a Grade II listed railway station which serves the town of Newark in Nottinghamshire, England. History It was built in 1846 for the Midland Railway in the Italianate style. It is on the Nottingham to Lincoln Line, owned by Network Rail and managed by East Midlands Railway who provide all services. Its name comes from the nearby castle. The other station in Newark is Newark North Gate. Facilities The station has a ticket office on platform 1 which is staffed throughout the day, Monday-Saturday. At other times, tickets can be purchased from the self-service ticket machine at the station. The station has a shelter on each platform as well as modern help points for when the station is unstaffed. The station also has a large bicycle storage facility located next to the Nottingham bound platform as well as a large 80 space car park at its entrance. Newark Northgate Railway Station
Newark Northgate railway station (alternatively Newark North Gate) is on the East Coast Main Line serving the market town of Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, England. It is down the line from and is situated on the main line between to the south and to the north. The station is Grade II listed. Newark-on-Trent is a market town, 25 miles (40 km) east of Nottingham. Newark has another station, Newark Castle, operated by East Midlands Railway and closer to the town centre. History The station is on the Great Northern Railway Towns Line from Peterborough to Doncaster which opened on 15 July 1852, the easier to construct Fens Loop Line via Boston and Lincoln had opened two years earlier. Carper Station, is a train station in Newark, Delaware, on Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, serving a limited number of Amtrak ''Northeast Regional'' trains and SEPTA's Wilmington/Newark Line regional rail trains. Newark Liberty International Airport Station (also known as Newark Airport Rail Station and Newark RaiLink station, and often announced simply as Newark Airport) is a railroad hub on the Northeast Corridor (NEC) in Newark, New Jersey. The station provides access to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) via the AirTrain Newark monorail which connects the station to the airport's terminals and parking areas. The station is served by New Jersey Transit's (NJT) Northeast Corridor Line and North Jersey Coast Line and Amtrak's '' Northeast Regional'' and '' Keystone Service'' trains. The station, located in the Dayton neighborhood of the city, is accessible only by train. There is no direct pedestrian access, bus service, parking facility, or drop-off area.
