"Nevada" is song by Dutch DJ duo Vicetone featuring American actress and singer Cozi Zuehlsdorff, released as a single on 20 June 2016 through Monstercat. Background "While the first melody and chords for this song were created in about 20 minutes, it took about two years to finally complete. The idea came to me when I was stranded in Toronto; Vicetone was having trouble traveling and had to stay in Canada for a day. While we were in the hotel, I started on my first idea of using guitar chords in a dance song. When we finally got home, we spent a lot of time trying to make the rock sound better. When we finished the song and sent it to the label, it did not have vocals, but Monstercat loved it and wanted to release it. They suggested that Cozi sing it. I sent the song to Cozi and about a week or two later she sent the first vocal demo." Vicetone
Vicetone is a Dutch electronic music production DJ duo formed by Ruben den Boer (; born 22 January 1992) and Victor Pool (; born 9 July 1992) from Groningen. The duo began as a DJ act, and in 2013, they were voted into the ''DJ Mag'' Top 100 DJs list for the first time at 60th as a new entry. Later in 2014, they went up 24 places on the list, coming 36th. In 2015, they fell 14 places to 50th. They made a return to the Top 100, coming in at 83rd in 2019 but dropped out the subsequent year. Cozi Zuehlsdorff
Cozi Noelle Zuehlsdorff (born August 3, 1998) is an American actress and singer, best known for her role as Hazel Haskett in the movie ''Dolphin Tale'' (2011) and the sequel, ''Dolphin Tale 2'' (2014). She appeared in ''Mighty Med'' as Jordan, in '' Liv and Maddie'' as Ocean, and the 2018 musical remake of ''Freaky Friday'' as Ellie. In November 2014, she released her debut EP, ''Originals''. Cozi collaborated with Monstercat house artist Hellberg with his single "The Girl", on which Zuehlsdorff contributed vocals to, which was featured on his EP, ''This Is Me'' and on ''Monstercat 021 – Perspective''.
