Neon Trees
Neon Trees are an American rock band founded in Provo, Utah. The band received nationwide exposure in late 2008 when they opened several North American tour dates for the band the Killers. Not long after, the band was signed by Mercury Records. Their first single, "Animal", climbed to No. 13 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and No. 1 on the Alternative Songs chart. Since their formation, Neon Trees has released five studio albums: '' Habits'' (2010), '' Picture Show'' (2012), '' Pop Psychology'' (2014), '' I Can Feel You Forgetting Me'' (2020), and ''Sink Your Teeth'' (2024). The band has also released eight EPs (two exclusive to iTunes) and fourteen singles. Pop Psychology (album)
''Pop Psychology'' is the third studio album by American rock band Neon Trees. The lead single, " Sleeping with a Friend", was released on January 11, 2014, and the album was released on April 22, 2014. The record is based on and is the cathartic product of lead singer, Tyler Glenn’s therapy sessions. Glenn started seeing a therapist after canceling some tour dates in 2012 while the band promoted their second record, '' Picture Show'', due to trying to find himself mentally and figure out who he was. "At moments there's a cry for help and sadness...But I think it's a real fun pop record at the heart of it and something with a message too", he said of his band's third album. Also addressed in the album's lyricism from Glenn's therapy sessions are his sexuality and sex, in general. Promotion The band released their lead single, "Sleeping with a Friend", in January 2014 and the music video was released on the 24th of that month. ''Picture Show'' is the second studio album by American rock band Neon Trees. The lead single, " Everybody Talks", was released on December 20, 2011, and the album was released on April 17, 2012. The music video for "Everybody Talks" was released on March 8, 2012. On March 15, 2012 an interview with Neon Trees stated that ''Picture Show'' would have 11 tracks and 4 bonus tracks. On March 19, the cover art for ''Picture Show'' was released, and on March 27, the cover art for the deluxe edition was revealed on their livestream appearance, along with confirmation of a vinyl version that will available for the deluxe edition. The album was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, mixed by Billy Bush and engineered by Carlos de la Garza, Billy Bush and Greg Collins. It was mastered by Joe LaPorta. Elaine Bradley
Elaine Bradley is an American musician and songwriter. She is the drummer for the American rock band Neon Trees since 2007 and the host BYUtv's unscripted series ''Grace Notes'' since 2020. Early life Elaine Bradley was the youngest of seven children. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered full-time as a missionary in Frankfurt, Germany for eighteen months. She later earned a B.S. in Public Health and a minor in German from Brigham Young University at the top of her class. Career She began her musical career with the Chicago emo band Nymb which was formed in 1994. She was one of the founding members and her role was that of vocalist and drummer during the first three years of the band but later, in 1997, she switched to the role of rhythm guitarist after the departure of their original rhythm guitarist.
