Nemra (band)
Nemra ( hy, Նեմրա) is an Armenian rock band established in 2012 in Yerevan. Led by songwriter Van Yeghiazaryan on vocals and guitar, Vaspur Yeghiazaryan on bass and backing vocals, keyboardist and backing vocalist Marianna Karakeyan, and drummer Marek Zaborski. The band's music draws from the Alternative rock, alternative and Indie rock, indie rock genres. They also perform cover versions of Armenia, Armenian folk songs. In 2018, the band won "Best rock band of the year" at the Armenian Music Awards. They have released two studio albums in English "''Mubla''" and "''Hmm''" and multiple singles and music videos. In 2018, Nemra competed in the Depi Evratesil show with the song "I'm a Liar" placing second by a narrow margin. They have toured internationally, performing in cities such as Los Angeles, Boston, Kyiv, Warsaw, Tbilisi, Moscow, Ulan-Ude, and throughout Armenia. Yerevan
Yerevan ( , , hy, Երևան , sometimes spelled Erevan) is the capital and largest city of Armenia and one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Charles Aznavour Square, Yerevan
Charles Aznavour Square (in Armenian Շառլ Ազնավուրի հրապարակ), is a small square in the Kentron District of the Armenian capital Yerevan. The square is named in honour of the French Armenian singer Charles Aznavour as part of the celebrations of the 10th anniversary of Armenian independence in 2001. The square adjacent to Abovyan Street includes a number of important venues including Stanislavski Russian Theatre of Yerevan, the Moscow Cinema, the Artists' Union of Armenia offices. Starsailor are an English post-Britpop band, formed in 2000. Since their formation the band has included guitarist and vocalist James Walsh, drummer Ben Byrne, bassist James Stelfox and keyboardist Barry Westhead. James Milne Walsh (born 10 June 1980) is an English singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist and frontman of the band Starsailor. Walsh released his first solo studio album, ''Lullaby'', in 2012. Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Brian Harold May (born 19 July 1947) is an English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and astrophysicist, who achieved worldwide fame as the lead guitarist of the rock band Queen.
