Neil McGregor
Neil McGregor (born 17 July 1985) is a Scottish former football defender who has previously played in the Scottish Premier League for Dundee. He last played for Kilwinning Rangers in the 2023–24 season. Career McGregor began his career with Kilmarnock. He played in the Scottish Youth Cup winning team of 2004. Killie won 1–0 against Rangers at Rugby Park in the final. McGregor along with Steven Masterton and Steven Naismith (all three played in the final) were promoted to the first team squad shortly afterwards. He failed to make the grade with Killie and was later released. He subsequently signed for Clyde in the summer of 2005, and scored on his début for them in the Scottish Challenge Cup against Brechin City. McGregor flourished after joining Clyde, and was awarded the Man of the Match award during Clyde's 5–2 extra time defeat to Rangers in the Scottish League Cup. Neil McGregor is an Australian entrepreneur and film-maker who founded the creative company Glass Engine and worked extensively in Australia, Canada and The United States of America. Biography McGregor graduated from the Australian Film, Television & Radio School and Griffith University. While studying, his first short film was shortlisted for Tropfest Film Festival and later opened the Brisbane International Film Festival and one of the youngest people to be inducted into the Australian Directors Guild. Neil McGregor (rugby Union)
Neil Perriam McGregor (29 December 1901 – 12 July 1973) was a New Zealand rugby union player. A Rugby union positions#Fly-half, first or Rugby union positions#Centre, second five-eighth, McGregor represented and at a provincial level, and was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, from 1924 to 1928. He played 27 matches for the All Blacks including two internationals. He went on to serve as the selector and coach of the provincial side from 1961 to 1963, and was a South Island selector from 1965 to 1968. Neil MacGregor
Robert Neil MacGregor (born 16 June 1946) is a British art historian and former museum director. He was editor of the '' Burlington Magazine'' from 1981 to 1987, then Director of the National Gallery, London, from 1987 to 2002, Director of the British Museum from 2003 to 2015, and founding director of the Humboldt Forum in Berlin until 2018. Biography Neil MacGregor was born in Glasgow to two medical doctors, Alexander and Anna MacGregor. He was educated at Glasgow Academy and then read modern languages at New College, Oxford, where he is now an honorary fellow. The period that followed was spent studying philosophy at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris (coinciding with the events of May 1968), and as a law student at Edinburgh University, where he received the Green Prize.
