Ned Bell
Ned Bell (born June 12) is a Canadian television personality and executive chef. He appeared on ''Cook Like a Chef'', Its Just Food and on Global B.C. Weekend Monday News Saturday Chef segment. Early life Born on June 12 in Okanagan British Columbia, at the age of 12 Bell would cook for his younger siblings and that is what kick started his love for food and cooking. When he turned 15 he got his first job washing dishes. In 1991 he graduated high school from Magee Secondary School. Then he went on to culinary school at Durbrulle French Culinary School and graduated in 1994. Career After graduating college, Bell followed his instructor Rob Feenie and worked at Crocodile and later helped him open a restaurant called Lumiere. Bell became the sous chef of the restaurant alongside of Michael Jacob. He was awarded "Best Over All Rising Star" from Where (magazine) after opening Murrietas Grill in Calgary. Magee Secondary School
Magee Secondary School is a public secondary school on West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of the first public high schools located in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood and is fed by the surrounding elementary schools in its catchment area. They include Maple Grove Elementary School, Dr. R. E. McKechnie Elementary School, and David Lloyd George Elementary School. It was used as a temporary hospital during the Influenza Epidemic in 1918. Rob Feenie
Robert Feenie is a Canadian chef based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Culinary career His interest in cooking began during a high school exchange program in Europe. He attended Dubrulle Culinary Institute (now part of The Art Institute of Vancouver). After graduation, Feenie worked as a sous chef at various restaurants, including The Rim Rock Café and Oyster Bar in Whistler, British Columbia and The Cherrystone Cove and Le Crocodile in Vancouver. While at Le Crocodile, Feenie worked stages in France and the United States. Later, Feenie opened Accolade Restaurant in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Toronto. Iron Chef Canada
Iron Chef Canada is a show on Food Network Canada which premiered 10 October 2018. The show is hosted by Gail Simmons, with Chris Nuttall-Smith as the floor reporter, and Jai West as The Chairman. The show is produced by Corus Entertainment and based on the popular ''Iron Chef'' franchise. Besides the secret ingredient that has to be featured in every dish, the Chairman also introduces a "culinary curveball" in the middle of the competition that has to be used in at least one dish.
