''Ned's Newt'' is an animated television series created by Andy Knight and Mike Burgess and co-produced by Nelvana and German company TV-Loonland AG, TMO Film GmbH (later renamed as "TMO-Loonland Film GmbH" in seasons 2–3) in conjunction with Studio B Productions. It aired on Teletoon in Canada from October 17, 1997, to December 31, 1999. In the United States, the series aired on Fox Kids starting on February 7, 1998, on Saturday mornings, but later changed to weekday mornings on October 5, 1998, to December 31, 1998. However, only the first season aired on Fox Kids in the U.S. while the series was never rebroadcast for many years. The show features celebrity Harland Williams as the voice of Newton. The series also aired on the now-defunct Qubo (with seasons 2-3) from March 28, 2016, to July 27, 2018, and again starting from March 30, 2020, to July 24, 2020. Teletoon Retro
Teletoon Retro was a Canadian specialty channel that was owned by Corus Entertainment that was based on the Teletoon programming block. The service was dedicated to broadcasting classic animated television programs such as ''The Raccoons'' as well as some live-action series. Along with its French-language sister channel Télétoon Rétro, it was available in over nine million Canadian households as of 2013; together it had the most subscribers among the digital Canadian specialty channels. Ron Pardo is a Canadian actor and comedian. He has performed roles in over 90 animated series. On ''Paw Patrol'', Pardo has voiced Cap'n Turbot since the first episode, and later voiced the breakout villain Mayor Humdinger as well as various other characters. Pardo is also known for playing a wide variety of celebrities on the sketch comedy series '' History Bites''. Early life Pardo was born in Chatham, Ontario to Anna Mae (née Antaya) and Douglas Pardo. The Genie is a fictional character who appeared in Walt Disney Pictures' animated film ''Aladdin'' (1992), later appearing in other media of the ''Aladdin'' franchise as one of its main characters, as well as throughout other Disney media. An impressionist or a mimic is a performer whose act consists of imitating sounds, voices and mannerisms of celebrities and cartoon characters.
