Natsu No Arashi!
is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Jin Kobayashi. The manga was serialized in Square Enix's ''Gangan Wing'' ''shōnen manga'' magazine from August 2006 to September 2010, with its chapters collected in eight Tankōbon, bound volumes. ''Natsu no Arashi!'' was also adapted into two anime television series by Shaft (company), Shaft under the direction of Akiyuki Shinbo, Shin Oonuma, and Kenichi Ishikura and broadcast in Japan from April 5, 2009 to December 27, 2009. Maiden Japan licensed the series for US release on November 12, 2019 on Blu-ray. Plot Thirteen-year-old Yasaka is a boy staying at his grandfather's house during his summer vacation. Kenichi Ishikura
is a Japanese director and storyboard artist best known for his works with Shaft and the anime adaptation of '' Sakura Trick''. Career Ishikura began his career in the industry in 2000 as a production assistant for '' Invincible King Tri-Zenon'' under E&G Films, and made his debut as an episode director with the 18th episode of '' Shingu: Secret of the Stellar Wars''. For the next several years, he worked mainly as a freelance director. In 2007, Ishikura had his first job with Shaft as an episode director and storyboard artist for Hidamari Sketch. Ai Nonaka
is a Japanese voice actress and singer. She works for Aoni Production and was formerly a member of the voice actor unit Drops, which included fellow voice actor Akemi Kanda, Tomoko Kaneda, Mariko Kōda, and Ryōko Shiraishi. In high school in Fukuoka, she was head of the drama club and her ambition was to play male roles in the famous all-female Takarazuka Revue. Ryōko Shiraishi
is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Kashiba, Nara. She is affiliated with Aoni Production. Possessing a husky voice, Shiraishi voices young to teenage men as well as young girls and teenage women. However, in a break from tradition, one of her most famous roles is the brash and hot-headed Asuka Kazama, who is noted for speaking with a strong Osaka accent, which is one of Shiraishi's specialist skills.
