''Nativity in Black: A Tribute to Black Sabbath'' is a series of two Black Sabbath tribute albums, released in 1994 and 2000 respectively. Black Sabbath
Black Sabbath are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1968 by guitarist Tony Iommi, drummer Bill Ward (musician), Bill Ward, bassist Geezer Butler, and vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. "Planet Caravan" is a song by the English Heavy metal music, heavy metal band Black Sabbath. It was originally released on their 1970 album ''Paranoid (album), Paranoid''. Overview Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler – who composed the song's lyrics – said the song is about floating through the universe with one's lover. Black Sabbath lead vocalist Ozzy Osbourne uses a Leslie speaker to achieve the vocals' treble and vibration effects. The piano parts on the track were played by album engineer Tom Allom. Iommi overdubbed flute to the reversed multitrack master which was then re-forwarded and treated with stereo delay. On 31 May 2020, "Planet Caravan" was used as wake-up music for the crew of a SpaceX SpaceX Dragon 2, Crew Dragon before the craft's launch later that day. Drew Stone is an American film director, producer, film editor, author and musician. His works include music videos, commercials, documentary films and television. He played an active role in the early stages of the New York hardcore and Boston hardcore punk scene. He was the co-founder and lead singer of The Mighty C.O.'s of Boston, Massachusetts and The High & The Mighty of New York City. The Cro-Mags are an American hardcore punk band from New York City. The band, which has garnered a strong cult following, has released six studio albums, with the first two considered the most influential. Parris Mitchell Mayhew (born 1964), formerly known as Kevin Mayhew, is an American musician, songwriter, director and camera operator. He is best known as a founding member of the New York Hardcore band Cro-Mags, in which he played guitar. He has also played in a number of other bands, including White Devil, the MAD, Sămsära, Psychic Orgy, and currently plays in Aggros. Mayhew has directed several music videos and now works as a motion picture and television camera operator. Biography Mayhew was born and raised in New York City.
