National Premier Leagues NSW
The National Premier Leagues NSW is a semi-professional soccer competition in New South Wales, Australia. The competition is conducted by Football NSW, one of the two organising bodies in New South Wales (the other being the National Premier Leagues Northern NSW organised by Northern NSW Football). The league is a subdivision of the second tier National Premier Leagues (NPL), which sits below the national A-League. Prior to becoming a subdivision of the NPL in 2013, the league was previously known as the NSW Premier League. Rockdale Ilinden Football Club (commonly known as Rockdale City Suns Football Club from 1992 to 2020) is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in the suburb of Rockdale, Sydney. Founded in 1969, by Macedonian Australians, the club competes in the highest men's competition in New South Wales, the National Premier Leagues NSW. 2004–05 NSW Premier League Season
The 2004–05 NSW Premier League season was the fourth season of the revamped NSW Premier League. Throughout the season many Premier League, NSW Super League, Super League, NSW State League Division One, Division One and NSW State League Division Two, Division Two teams competed in a newly formed FA Cup-style knockout competition called the Waratah Cup, Statewide Cup in which the Sydney United 58 FC, Sydney United were crowned champions after defeating Belconnen Blue Devils in 3–1 at Parramatta Stadium.
