National Live Music Awards
The National Live Music Awards (NLMAs) are annual Australian music awards, established by Heath Media in 2016. They were preceded by the AU Live Music Awards in the previous two years. The awards are given in categories that recognise the best live music venues, performers, events, and festivals. The awards contain both national and state-focused categories, voted on by people in the live industry, with select public-voted categories. History The National Live Music Awards were preceded by the AU Live Music Awards, held in 2014 and 2015 and run by event director Larry Heath under the auspices of Heath Media. They were the first awards dedicated solely to contemporary live music in Australia. Electric Fields
Electric Fields is an Australian electronic music duo made up of vocalist Zaachariaha Fielding and keyboard player and producer Michael Ross. Electric Fields combine modern electric-soul music with Aboriginal culture and sing in Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara and English. The duo have released an EP and several singles. In , they became the first duo to represent in the Eurovision Song Contest, with the song " One Milkali (One Blood)". Tropical Fuck Storm
Tropical Fuck Storm are an Australian rock band and supergroup from Melbourne, Victoria, formed by Gareth Liddiard and Fiona Kitschin from The Drones. Lauren Hammel, from the band High Tension, plays drums, and Erica Dunn, from the bands Mod Con, Harmony, and Palm Springs, plays guitars, keyboards, and other instruments. Danzal James Baker (born 10 October 1996), known professionally as Baker Boy, is a Yolngu rapper, dancer, and artist. The National Live Music Awards of 2018 are the third National Live Music Awards in Australia. The event took place on 6 December 2018. The event moved its gala event to Brisbane – following events in Sydney and Melbourne in the last two years. The 2018 event introduced a new award for ''Best Live Music Photographer in Australia'' and a ''Hall of Fame'' equivalent, titled the ''Live Legends''. David Immanuel Menachem Sasagi Le’aupepe is an Australian singer, songwriter, guitarist and frontman of alternative rock band Gang of Youths, which he founded in 2011. Ngaire Laun Joseph (born 1984, in Lae), known by her stage name Ngaiire (pronounced ''ny-ree'' or /naɪəriː/), is a Papua New Guinea-born Australian-based R&B and future soul singer-songwriter. Her musical career commenced in 2003 with an enrollment in a bachelor of Jazz Studies at the Central Queensland University (CQU).
