National Film Awards (Nepal)
The National Film Awards is the most prominent and prestigious award of Cinema of Nepal, Nepali cinema. The first National Film Award was held in 2005, in the presence of His Majesty's King Gyanendra of Nepal, Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah. The event is held at the residence of the president of Nepal and the president (as a Head of Nation) gives the awards to the winners in various categories. It is yearly organised by Film Development Board, Nepal (government organisation, which looks after film industry of Nepal). National Film Awards 2005 (2062 BS) The Film Development Board of Nepal organized the National Film Awards 2005 at Birendra International Convention Center, Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Nepal. The award's nomination was declared in the presence of Her Majesty Queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Devi Shah. Nepali Cinema, also referred to as "''Nepali Chalachitra''" () is the Film industry, filmmaking industry in Nepal. This includes films in various languages of Nepal, most notably in Nepali language but also in Newar language, Newari, Maithili language, Maithili, Tamangic languages, Tamang, Bhojpuri language, Bhojpuri and Tharu languages, Tharu among others. The term ''Cinemandu'' is also used, as a portmanteau for films produced in the Nepali language while the Nepalese films produced from Kathmandu and Janakpur, Nepal, Janakpur in the Maithili language is known as ''Maithili Cinema, Mithilawood''. Ram Baran Yadav
Ram Baran Yadav (; Nepali: डा. राम वरण यादव; born 4 February 1948) is a Nepali politician and physician who served as the first president of Nepal from 23 July 2008 to 29 October 2015, following the declaration of republic in 2008. Previously, he served as Minister of Health from 1999 to 2001 and general secretary of the Nepali Congress. Political life Yadav served as Minister of State for Health from 1991 to 1994. He was elected to the House of Representatives in the 1999 election as a candidate of the Nepali Congress, becoming the Minister of Health in the subsequent government. The Rastrapati Bhawan (, , "Presidential Palace") is the official residence of the President of Nepal, located in Kathmandu, Nepal. It hosts the Office of The President of Nepal (). The main palace building is also known as Shital Niwas. It was built by Prime Minister Chandra Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana in 1923. Newar (; , ) is a Sino-Tibetan languages, Sino-Tibetan language spoken by the Newar people, the indigenous inhabitants of Nepal Mandala, which consists of the Kathmandu Valley and surrounding regions in Nepal. Uttam Neupane
Surya Kumar Neupane (born 1987) known professionally as Uttam Neupane, is a Nepali sound mixer. He is the recipient of the 5th National Film Award of Nepal for Best Sound mixing for the feature film ''Mero Euta Saathi Chha''. Two films he did sound-mixing for, ''Bulbul'' and '' Talakjung vs Tulke,'' were Nepal's official entries for the 92nd and 88th Academy Awards respectively.
