National Film Award For Best Promotional Film
The National Film Award for Best Promotional Film was one of the National Film Awards presented annually by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. It was one of several awards presented for non-feature films and awarded with Rajat Kamal (Silver Lotus). The award was instituted in 1967, at 15th National Film Awards and awarded annually for short films produced in the year across the country, in all Indian languages. The Directorate of Film Festivals in India was an organisation that initiated and presented the International Film Festival of India, the National Film Awards and the Indian Panorama. 18th National Film Awards
The 18th National Film Awards were held in Chennai, India in November 1971 by the Indian Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (India), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting for Cinema of India, Indian films released in 1970. Vijaya Mulay (16 May 1921 – 19 May 2019) was a documentary filmmaker, historian, film historian, writer, educationist and researcher. She was lovingly called Akka in film circles. ''Ek Anek Aur Ekta'' or "One, Many, and Unity" (also known as ''Ek Chidiya, Anek Chidiyan'' after the title song) is a traditionally animated short educational film released by the Films Division of India (Government of India). It was released in 1974. It was aired on the public broadcaster channel Doordarshan and became very popular among children.
