National Academy Of Handball
The National Academy of Handball (, commonly abbreviated NEKA) is a Hungary, Hungarian state-funded team handball, handball training and developing center run by the Hungarian Handball Federation. Located in Balatonboglár, it offers an integrated four year education for students in grades 9–12. In addition, it is open for Hungarian international junior handballers (aged 18–21) under a trilateral agreement between the academy, the players' club and the players itself. NEKA Sportcsarnok
Neka () is a city in the Central District (Neka County), Central District of Neka County, Mazandaran province, Iran, serving as capital of both the county and the district. History Not much is known about this area in geographical or historical accounts of the past, until the Qajar Iran, Qajar era. However, in the geographical records of the early Islamic period, the name Mirdan of a city near the current city of Neka has been mentioned. Deh Khoda has mentioned the River Neka in his encyclopedia. It seems that Neka was a vicinity or 'block' comprising various rural settlements. The present Neka has sprung up from the village of 'Naranj', alongside a bridge on Neka River within the past 70 years. Gábor Temesvári
Gábor Temesvári (born 24 November 2003) is a Hungarian handball player who plays for MOL Tatabánya KC. Career Club Gábor started his career in Békési FKC. Moved from Békési FKC to Balatonboglár, the National Handball Academy (NEKA) in 2017. He made his debut in the first team in NEKA in 2019, and in that season he scored 10 goals in 16 matches in the then still Nemzeti Bajnokság I/B team. In 2021, NEKA was promoted to the first division, Nemzeti Bajnokság I, Gábor scored 42 goals in the season. He made his debut in Nemzeti Bajnokság I in the 2021/22 season, scoring 47 goals in 26 games. On November 17, 2023, cartilage surgery was performed on his knee, and he recovered by the start of the 2024/25 championship. Levente (between 1010 and 1015 – 1047) was a member of the House of Árpád, a great-grandson of Taksony, Grand Prince of the Hungarians. Dániel Sztraka (born 24 November 2003) is a Hungarian handball player who plays for PLER-Budapest. Career Club Dániel started his career in Budapest Kézilabda KFT.
