Naoki Mori (footballer, Born 1972)
is a former Japanese football player. Playing career Mori was born in Nagasaki Prefecture on May 5, 1972. He played for Nagoya Grampus Eight. He played many matches as center back from 1994. The club won the champions 1995 Emperor's Cup first major title in club history. In 1996, he moved to Japan Football League (JFL) club Vissel Kobe. The club won the 2nd place in 1996 and was promoted to J1 League. In 1998, he moved to JFL club Omiya Ardija is a Japanese professional association football club based in Ōmiya-ku, Saitama, Ōmiya, Saitama Prefecture. is a Japanese professional football manager and former player who is the manager of J2 League club Mito HollyHock. Playing career Mori was born in Saitama Prefecture on November 21, 1977. After graduating from Dohto University, he joined J1 League club Cerezo Osaka in 2000. He played mainly at centre back position, he did not play many games. The club were relegated to J2 League after the 2001 season. In 2003, he moved to J2 club Mito HollyHock. He became a regular player as centre back. However, his opportunity to play decreased in 2005 and he retired end of 2005 season. Managerial career In May 2024, Mori was appointed manager of Mito HollyHock is a Japanese professional football (soccer) club located in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture.
