Nance is an extinct town in eastern Taney County, in the Ozarks of southwest Missouri. The GNIS classifies it as a populated place. Nancy Anna Francina Coolen, known as Nance (born 10 September 1973 in Asten, North Brabant, Netherlands) is a Dutch singer and television presenter, and the former lead vocalist of Eurodance act Twenty 4 Seven. At the age of 15, Nance was discovered in a club by dance producer Ruud van Rijen, who created the dance-act Twenty 4 Seven around her and rapper Captain Hollywood, who was later replaced by Stay C. ''The Nance'' is a play written by Douglas Carter Beane. It involves the lives of burlesque performers during the 1930s. A "nance" was a camp stock character in vaudeville and burlesque. The play is a production of Lincoln Center Theater that premiered on Broadway in 2013. It received five Tony Award nominations, and won three awards. It starred Nathan Lane as Chauncey. Production The play premiered April 15, 2013, at the Lyceum Theatre, in a Lincoln Center Theater production. The limited run was extended to August 11, 2013. ''Byrsonima'' is one of about 75 genera in the Malpighiaceae, a family of flowering plants in the order Malpighiales. In particular in American English, they are known as locustberries (which also may refer specifically to '' Byrsonima coccolobifolia'' or '' Byrsonima lucida'').
