He is recognized as the most successful producer in Japanese music history and has introduced contemporary electronic dance music to the Japanese mainstream. He was also a former owner of the disco Velfarre located in Roppongi, Tokyo. "Try Me" is a song originally recorded by English singer Lolita, written by Hinoky Team with production from Italian producer Dave Rodgers. Avex Trax released the song on 21 December 1994 as Lolita's first and only single from the album of the same name.
