NXT Women's North American Championship
The NXT Women's North American Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion WWE. It is the secondary women's championship of the company's development brand, NXT. Established on April 6, 2024, it was the first secondary women's championship in company history and the inaugural champion was Kelani Jordan. The current champion is Sol Ruca, who is in her first reign. She won the vacant title by defeating Zaria, Kelani Jordan, Izzi Dame, Lola Vice, and Thea Hail in a six-woman ladder match at Stand & Deliver on April 19, 2025; previous champion Stephanie Vaquer relinquished the title due to also holding the NXT Women's Championship. Calyx Harmony Hampton (born August 26, 1999) is an American professional wrestler. , she is signed to WWE, where she performs on the NXT (WWE brand), NXT WWE brand extension, brand under the ring name Sol Ruca. She is currently a double champion, holding both the WWE Women's Speed Championship and the NXT Women's North American Championship in her first reign with each. Raw is a brand of the American professional wrestling promotion WWE that was established on March 25, 2002. Brands are divisions of WWE's roster where wrestlers are assigned to perform on a weekly basis when a brand extension is in effect. Wrestlers assigned to Raw primarily appear on the brand's weekly television program, ''Monday Night Raw'', which began in 1993, also referred to simply as ''Raw''. The 2024 NXT Battleground (marketed as NXT Battleground: Las Vegas), was a professional wrestling event produced by WWE. It was the second annual Battleground held for the promotion's developmental brand NXT, and the seventh Battleground overall. In partnership with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), WWE's sister company under TKO Group Holdings, the event took place on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the UFC Apex in the Las Vegas suburb of Enterprise, Nevada, marking WWE's first event held at the venue.
