''NRL on Fox'' was an Australian sports talk show that deals with the issues in the National Rugby League. It aired on Fox Sports Australia, Wednesday nights. Warren Smith (broadcaster)
Warren Smith is an Australian rugby league commentator for Fox Sports Australia. Smith has been with the pay TV network since 1995 and has gained a reputation for his distinctive style and versatility. Smith has made the term "They're gonna say…” his own. (For example, “They're gonna say it's a knock on.” “They're gonna say the pass was forward.”) He's also known for being inexplicably incredulous. (For example, saying "And wow! They're gonna say it was forward!" in a stunned voice, despite the pass clearly being forward.) Smith is essentially the face of Fox Sports coverage of the National Rugby League competition and typically calls two or three matches per round. He has also called the 2010/11 KFC Twenty20 Big Bash League cricket tournament. Wayne Pearce
Wayne John Pearce (born 29 March 1960 in Balmain, New South Wales) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach. A for the Balmain Tigers, he was known as Junior. Pearce represented New South Wales in the State of Origin Series as well as the Australian national rugby league team. Pearce also made an appearance the 1988 Australian television movie ''The First Kangaroos'', which depicted the 1908–09 Kangaroo tour of Great Britain. Coaching career Pearce took over as Balmain coach in 1994, and coached Balmain for six seasons before they merged with the Western Suburbs Magpies. In 2000, Pearce became the inaugural coach of the Wests Tigers but stepped down after one season. Pearce also coached New South Wales for three seasons and in 2000 led New South Wales to a clean sweep winning the series 3–0. In 2001, Pearce coached NSW in what would prove to be his last series. Gary Ross Freeman (born 4 December 1962) is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s, and coached in the 2000s, who both captained and coached the New Zealand national team. Wendell Jermaine Sailor (born 16 July 1974) is an Australian former professional rugby footballer who represented his country in both rugby league and rugby union – a dual code international. In rugby league Sailor was a member of the successful Brisbane Broncos team of the 1990s, with whom he won Premierships in 1993, 1997, 1998 and 2000.
