NFTO (cycling Team)
NFTO Pro Cycling () were a British UCI Continental cycling team, until October 2016. According to the team's website, 'NFTO' stands for 'Not For The Ordinary'. Founded in 2014 the team were planning to become a UCI Professional Continental team in 2016. However this change of status did not occur, and in October of that year it was announced that the team's sponsor would cease to support the team, and that the team's manager Tom Barras would set up a successor team with UCI Continental status. In December Barras confirmed that the new team would not race after the squad's prospective sponsor pulled out. Samuel James Harrison (born 24 June 1992) is a Welsh racing cyclist. He has twice won medals at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships, in 2011, and 2013. Cycling career Harrison is from Risca, Newport. He tried cycling after hearing his friends saying that Newport Velodrome was fun, and at the age of 13 he was soon racing with the local club, Cwmcarn Paragon. He was selected to be a member of British Cycling's Olympic Development Programme in 2008. Harrison was nominated for the BBC's Young Sports Personality award in 2008, after winning three titles in the youth competition of the British National Track Championships. Australian National Criterium Championships
The Australian National Criterium Championships cover several different categories of Australian road bicycle racing events, normally held annually. The elite event is normally held in the December the preceding year, for example the 2009 championships were held on 14 December 2008, and the 2008 championships were held on 2 December 2007. Occasionally the event will be held in January and under 23 events combined with the elite race. Each year the championships are held in a different location, often incorporated in other annual criterium events. The winners of each event are awarded with a symbolic cycling jersey featuring green and yellow stripes, which can be worn by the rider at other criterium events in the country to show their status as national champion.
