NEXT (Korean Band)
NEXT (; stylized as ''N.EX.T'' as an abbreviation for New EXperiment Team) was a South Korean Band (rock and pop), rock band known for its provocative songs that critiqued social injustice. The band was formed by iconic Korean experimental rock singer Shin Hae-chul and debuted in 1992 with the album ''Home''. NEXT went through several line-up changes over the years and has been inactive since Shin's death in 2014. History NEXT (New EXperiment Team) was the band of singer/songwriter Shin Hae Chul (신해철). The group split up following the 1997 release of Lazenca: A Space Rock Opera, and the instrumentalists formed the alternative metal band Novasonic with rapper Kim Jun Pyo. N.EX.T reformed around 2003 following the disbanding of Novasonic, and composed the soundtrack for the Korean release of ''Guilty Gear X2 updated versions#Guilty Gear X2 #Reload, Guilty Gear XX #Reload''. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. Founded in 2010, it is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Yonhap News Agency (; ) is a major news agency in South Korea. It is based in Seoul, South Korea. Yonhap provides news articles, pictures, and other information to newspapers, TV networks and other media in South Korea. Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival () is a rock festival which is held annually in Incheon, South Korea for three days in August. Launched in 2006, it is considered one of the biggest live music events in South Korea. The festival covers various genres, but mainly rock music and electronic music. The name came from the five main themes of the festival: music, passion, environment friendly, DIY, and friendship. Crash (South Korean Band)
Crash is a South Korean thrash metal band from Seoul. History Crash was formed in 1991 with the lineup of Ahn Heung-Chan (vocals, bass guitar), Jung Yong-Wook (drums) and Yoon Doo-Byung (guitar). They were also the first Korean band to provoke slam dancing and stage diving at their concerts. In 1993, they recorded their debut album ''Endless Supply of Pain'' with internationally famous death metal producer, Colin Richardson with whom the band collaborated again on their third and fourth albums.
