Speedrun
Speedrunning is the act of playing a video game, or section of a video game, with the goal of completing it as fast as possible. Speedrunning often involves following planned routes, which may incorporate sequence breaking and exploit glitches that allow sections to be skipped or completed more quickly than intended. Tool-assisted speedrunning (TAS) is a subcategory of speedrunning that uses emulation software or additional tools to create a precisely controlled sequence of inputs. Many online communities revolve around speedrunning specific games; community leaderboard rankings for individual games form the primary competitive metric for speedrunning. Racing between two or more speedrunners is also a popular form of competition. Videos and livestreams of speedruns are shared via the internet on media sites such as YouTube and Twitch. Speedruns are sometimes showcased at marathon events, which are gaming conventions that feature multiple people performing speedruns in a ...

Clu Clu Land
is a puzzle video game developed and published by Nintendo in 1984 in Japan for the Family Computer. It was released in North America in 1985 as a launch title for the Nintendo Entertainment System, with Europe receiving the game in 1987. Nintendo has re-released the game on many different platforms via emulation, of which includes the Virtual Console digital distribution service on the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U and the Nintendo Classics service. Title Although "Clu Clu Land" is the official English title for the game, "Clu Clu" is actually an anglicization of "Kuru Kuru"; a Japanese onomatopoeia that refers to something going "around and around". This is derived from the main gameplay mechanic, in which the Bubbles (the protagonist) moves around mazes via grabbing onto poles, hence spinning "around and around". The same phrase is also the basis for the title of the Game Boy Advance game '' Kuru Kuru Kururin'' and its subsequent sequels. Gameplay In ''Clu Clu Land'', the playe ...

Off-TV Play
Off-TV Play is a feature of Nintendo's eighth-generation video game console, the Wii U. Like all video game consoles, the Wii U uses a console and a controller to manipulate an image on a television screen. The Wii U's unique feature is that its controller, the Wii U GamePad, has its own built-in screen for displaying images. It can display an entirely different image, or duplicate the television screen into the Wii U GamePad. It also allowed for 2-Player multiplayer, where each person would have their own screen with no need for Co-op splitscreen. Off-TV Play is the term used for when an entire game is played strictly on the controller, without the use of a television. The GamePad also features two speakers that can be used for Off-TV Play. There is no standardized way to activate Off-TV Play and how it's implemented depends on the game. Background The Wii U console was officially unveiled at E3 2011 in June 2011, where it was first detailed that the console's controller would ...

''Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels'', known in Japan as ''Super Mario Bros. 2'', is a 1986 platform game developed by Nintendo R&D4 for the Famicom Disk System (FDS). Like its predecessor, ''Super Mario Bros.'' (1985), players control Mario or Luigi to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser.
