The Ministry of Narcotics Control () was the Government of Pakistan, Pakistan Government's :Pakistan federal departments and agencies, federal and executive level Ministry (government department), ministry created on 4 August 2017 by Shahid Khaqan Abbasi (the then Prime Minister of Pakistan). The ministry was created out of the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control (now just Ministry of Interior (Pakistan), Ministry of Interior). Its sole agency or unit is the Anti-Narcotics Force. The Government of Pakistan () (abbreviated as GoP), constitutionally known as the Federal Government, commonly known as the Centre, is the national authority of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, a federal republic located in South Asia, consisting of four provinces and one federal territory. An independent politician or non-affiliated politician is a politician not affiliated with any political party or Bureaucracy, bureaucratic association. There are numerous reasons why someone may stand for office as an independent. Some politicians have political views that do not align with the platforms of any political party and therefore they choose not to affiliate with them.
