Makati Intra-City Subway
The Makati Intra-city Subway or (MkTr) is an under-construction underground rapid transit line to be located in Makati, Metro Manila, that will link establishments across the city's business district. It will be built under a public-private partnership program between the Makati City Government and a private consortium, led by Philippine Infradev Holdings. Proponents of the subway are expected to begin construction by December 2018, and Makati Mayor Abigail Binay projects completion by 2025. The subway will cost $2.5 billion (or ) and is expected to accommodate 700,000 passengers daily. Guadalupe station is an elevated Manila Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station situated on Line 3. The Santa Monica–Lawton Bridge, also known as the Kalayaan Bridge and Bonifacio Global City–Ortigas Link Bridge, is a four-lane, two-way bridge across the Pasig River that connects Lawton Avenue in Makati to Fairlane Street (near Santa Monica Street to where the bridge is also named after) in Kapitolyo, Pasig. The bridge spans and the construction cost of the bridge is as of 2017. The bridge also includes a viaduct that connects it to 8th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
