Målilla
Målilla () is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality in Hultsfred Municipality, Kalmar County, Sweden with 1,524 inhabitants in 2010. It is commonly known as the temperature capital of Sweden due to both high and low temperature records being set there. A Swedish record high temperature of +38 Celsius, °C (100.4 Fahrenheit, °F) was set on June 29, 1947. This record is shared with Ultuna in Uppland. The lowest temperature recorded is −33.8 °C, one of the lowest ever recorded in southern Sweden. Due to its fame for the extremes in temperature, the center of the town's main roundabout features a 15 metre high thermometer. Shortly after its construction in December 2000, it was hit by a motorist and its bulb had to be replaced. Dackarna
Dackarna is a motorcycle speedway club from Målilla in Sweden who compete in the Swedish Elitserien. Their home track since 1993 has been the Skrotfrag Arena which was the venue for the Grand Prix of Scandinavia and is the current venue for the Speedway Grand Prix of Sweden. They ride in the Elitserien and are six times champions of Sweden. History 1935 to 1964 The team was founded in May 1935 as Målilla Motorklubb and in 1949 renamed itself Dackarna (in honour of Nils Dacke) and the club began league racing. The team raced at the Gamla Målilla Motorstadion but in 1956, the team rode their matches at the Växjö Motorstadion. In 1957, Dackarna won division 1 and were declared the winners of the Swedish Speedway Team Championship for the first time; the team included Rune Sörmander and Dan Forsberg. Skrotfrag Arena
The Skrotfrag Arena is a 15,000-capacity multi-use stadium in Målilla, Sweden. The stadium is regularly used as the venue for the World Championship races; the Speedway Grand Prix of Scandinavia and the Speedway Grand Prix of Sweden (rounds of the Speedway Grand Prix, which is the premier world event in motorcycle speedway. The Arena is also the home venue of the speedway team called Dackarna who race in the Elitserien. The speedway track has a circumference of 305 metres. The stadium opened on 29 June 1993 when it was known as the new Målilla Motorstadion and the track record for 500cc is 55.1sec by Andreas Jonsson recorded on 23 August 2011. Hultsfred Municipality () is a municipality in Kalmar County, in south-eastern Sweden. The seat is in the town of Hultsfred. The present municipality was created in 1971 through the amalgamation of the market town (''köping'') of Hultsfred (instituted in 1927) with a number of surrounding municipalities. In 1863 there were eight entities in the area. Hultsfred is known as the site of a major rock festival in Sweden, the Hultsfred Festival. The 2021 Swedish speedway season was the 2021 season of motorcycle speedway in Sweden. Andreas Harrysson (born 3 June 1975) is a Swedish professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) and World Darts Federation (WDF) events. He has won four titles on the PDC Nordic & Baltic Tour and two on the PDC Challenge Tour. Career 2016 In 2016 Harrysson won the Nordic Cup Men Singles. Janne Corax
Janne Corax (born 1967) is a Swedish cyclist, mountaineer and explorer. He has traveled in 110 countries and cycled more than 82,500 km. He lives in Målilla in southern Sweden. In 2003 he and Nadine Saulnier made a cycle crossing of the uninhabited and trackless 5,000-metre-high Chang Tang plateau of Northern Tibet.
