Myrichthys Breviceps
''Myrichthys breviceps'' (syn. ''M. acuminatus''), the sharptail snake-eel, is a fish species native to the Western Atlantic. It has diffuse, yellow spots on a blueish-gray back and white belly. Spots are small on the head, larger on the body. The eel occurs not uncommonly along the coasts of the Caribbean sea, on sea grass beds and on reefs. Although mainly night active, they may also be seen foraging during daylight. Food is small invertebrates like crabs. Sir John Richardson FRS FRSE (5 November 1787 – 5 June 1865) was a Scottish naval surgeon, naturalist and Arctic The Arctic ( or ) is a polar region located at the northernmost part of Earth. He was then apprenticed to his maternal uncle, Dr James Mundell, a surgeon in Dumfries. He studied medicine at Edinburgh University, and became a surgeon in the navy in 1807. He traveled with John Franklin in search of the Northwest Passage on the Coppermine Expedition of 1819–1822. The sharp-tailed grouse (''Tympanuchus phasianellus''), also known as the sharptail or fire grouse, is a medium-sized prairie grouse. One of three species in the genus ''Tympanuchus'', the sharp-tailed grouse is found throughout Alaska, much of Northern and Western Canada, and parts of the Western and Midwestern United States. The sharp-tailed grouse is the provincial bird of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Taxonomy In 1750 the English naturalist George Edwards included an illustration and a description of the sharp-tailed grouse in the third volume of his ''A Natural History of Uncommon Birds''. Ophichthidae is a family of fish in the order Anguilliformes, commonly known as the snake eels. The term "Ophichthidae" comes from Greek ''ophis'' ("serpent") and ''ichthys'' ("fish").
