''Mutation'' is the second studio album by Australian rock group, RedHook. The album was announced in August 2024 and released on 22 November 2024. It peaked at number 15 on the ARIA charts; their first to enter the top 100. Band member Emmy Mack said "''Mutation'' felt like the perfect name for this record because we wanted it to feel like an evolution in every single way, not just in RedHook's sound, but also in the culture around us. RedHook are an Australian rock band from Sydney, who formed in 2017. The band consists of lead vocalist Emmy Mack, guitarist Craig Wilkinson, drummer Alex Powys, and bassist Ned Jankovic. Their debut EP ''Bad Decisions'' was released on 23 April 2021. They released their debut studio album, '' Postcard from a Living Hell'', in April 2023 and a second studio album, ''Mutation'' on 22 November 2024. Holding Absence
Holding Absence are a Welsh rock band from Cardiff, Wales, formed in 2015. None of the founding members remain in the band. The group consists of lead vocalist Lucas Woodland, guitarist Scott Carey, and bassist Benjamin Elliott. The band released an initial collection of singles in 2017, as well as a split EP with Loathe in 2018, before finally releasing their debut record, ''Holding Absence'', in 2019.
