Saadi (poet)
Saadi Shīrāzī ( fa, ابومحمّد مصلحالدین بن عبدالله شیرازی), better known by his pen name Saadi (; fa, سعدی, , ), also known as Sadi of Shiraz (, ''Saʿdī Shīrāzī''; born 1210; died 1291 or 1292), was a Persian poet and prose writer of the medieval period. He is recognized for the quality of his writings and for the depth of his social and moral thoughts. Saadi is widely recognized as one of the greatest poets of the classical literary tradition, earning him the nickname "The Master of Speech" or "The Wordsmith" ( ''ostâd-e soxan'') or simply "Master" ( ''ostâd'') among Persian scholars. He has been quoted in the Western traditions as well. '' Bustan'' has been ranked as one of the 100 greatest books of all time by ''The Guardian''. Kurtoğlu Muslihiddin Reis
Kurtoğlu Muslihiddin Reis (1487 – c. 1535) was the admiral of the Ottoman Empire, as well as the Sanjak Bey (Provincial Governor) of Rhodes. He played an important role in the Ottoman conquests of Egypt (1517) and Rhodes (1522) during which he commanded the Ottoman naval forces. He also helped establish the Ottoman Indian Ocean Fleet based in Suez, which was later commanded by his son, Kurtoğlu Hızır Reis. Muhammad Muslehuddin Siddiqui
Muhammad Muslehuddin Siddiqui (27 December 1918 – 23 March 1983) (Urdu محمد مصلح الدین صدیقى), was a preacher born in Nanded on India's Deccan Plateau. Education Under the supervision of his father Ghulam Jilani, he memorised the Quran. On the suggestion of Muhammad Abdul Aziz Muhaddis Mubarakpuri, in 1935 at the age of 17 years he went to Darul-uloom Ashrafiya in Mubarakpur Azamgarh Uttar Pradesh, where he studied fiqh, hadith and other Islamic subjects. After 8 years at this university, he travelled with Abdul Azeez Mubarakpuri in 1943 to Nagpur. Sadrush Sharia and entered Qari Muslehuddin in his Bay'ah during 1358 AH. At the age of 29, in 1946, Muhammad Amjad Ali Azami conferred '' khilafah'' upon him thus giving him permission to speak on behalf of the Qadri Order.
