The Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) is the umbrella group that unites all musicians in Ghana irrespective of their music genre. Bice Osei Kuffour
Bice Osei Kuffour (born 17 November 1981) is a Ghanaian hiplife musician, known popularly by the name Obour, which means "stone" in the Akan language. He is the immediate past president of the Musicians Union of Ghana, an umbrella group that unites all musicians in Ghana irrespective of genre. Bice Osei Kuffour contested the NPP primaries elections in the Asante Akyem South constituency as a parliamentary candidate. He was later appointed as secretary to the NPP 2020 Campaign Ashanti Region Advertising Committee. Gyedu-Blay Ambolley
Gyedu-Blay Ambolley is a Ghanaian highlife musician, songwriter, producer, and composer. The first musician from Ghana and the world to formally incorporate rap forms into local highlife rhythms, Ambolley created the musical genre Simigwa. Career Gyedu-Blay Ambolley was rather unknown outside of West Africa until Soundway Records included his seminal Simigwa-Do, which Ambolley released in 1973, on their first anthology, ''Ghana Soundz''. Nana Tuffour ( James Kwaku Tuffour, 14 February 1954 – 15 June 2020), also known as 9-9-2-4, was a Ghanaian Highlife singer and songwriter. Diana Hopeson (also known as Diana Botchway) is a Ghanaian gospel singer and a former president of the Musicians Union of Ghana. Her contributions to the Ghanaian Art industry won her a National Honors Award, which was presented to her by former president John Agyekum Kufuor in 2007. In March 2021, she was among the Top 30 Most Influential Women in Music by the 3Music Awards Women's Brunch.
