Rush (Darude Album)
''Rush'' is the second studio album by Finnish DJ and record producer Darude. It was released on July 15, 2003. It peaked at number four on The Official Finnish Charts. Reception MacKenzie Wilson of Allmusic praised the release in general, writing that Darude "builds upon the dynamics of '' Before the Storm'', raises the pressure, and fuels the flame for an electrifying dozen-track set. Darude's talent in keeping the energy at an elevated level without losing touch with the album's overall ambience is what makes him a star and an integral part of the new-millennium dance scene. His classy mix of techno and trance is perfected into a fashionably slick spiral of synthesized heat." However, the review criticized the lack of variety between tracks, and gave it a generally low score of 2/5. Track listing Charts References External links Darude.com''Rush''

MUSIC/SP
''MUSIC/SP (Multi-User System for Interactive Computing/System Product''; originally McGill University System for Interactive Computing) was developed at McGill University in the 1970s from an early IBM time-sharing system called RAX ( Remote Access Computing System). The system ran on IBM S/360, S/370, and 4300-series mainframe hardware, and offered then-novel features such as file access control and data compression. It was designed to allow academics and students to create and run their programs interactively on terminals, in an era when most mainframe computing was still being done from punched cards. Over the years, development continued and the system evolved to embrace email, the Internet and eventually the World Wide Web. At its peak in the late 1980s, there were over 200 universities, colleges and high school districts that used the system in North and South America, Europe and Asia. ''MUSIC'' was originally designed as a stand-alone operating system but with the ...

MUSIC-N
MUSIC-N refers to a family of computer music programs and programming languages descended from or influenced by MUSIC, a program written by Max Mathews in 1957 at Bell Labs. MUSIC was the first computer program for generating digital audio waveforms through direct synthesis. It was one of the first programs for making music (in actuality, sound) on a digital computer, and was certainly the first program to gain wide acceptance in the music research community as viable for that task. The world's first computer-controlled music was generated in Australia by programmer Geoff Hill on the CSIRAC computer which was designed and built by Trevor Pearcey and Maston Beard. The music of CSIRAC

Multi-simulation Coordinator
MUSIC (Multi-Simulation Coordinator) is software developed and released by the INCF and Royal Institute of Technology ( KTH) School of Computer Science and Communication in Stockholm, Sweden. MUSIC is designed for interconnecting large scale neuronal network simulators, either with each other or with other tools. It allows spike events and continuous time series to be communicated between such applications in a cluster computer. The typical usage cases are connecting models developed for different simulators and connecting a parallel simulator to a post-processing tool. MUSIC provides a standardized software interface (API) on top of the message-passing interface (MPI) for communication among parallel applications for large-scale computational neuroscience simulations. It enables the transfer of massive amounts of event information and continuous values from one parallel application to another, including those using different data allocation strategies. In the design of the standard ...

Downtown (Petula Clark Album)
''Downtown'' is an album by Petula Clark (her first album licensed to Warner Bros. Records) following the success of her single of the same title. Most of the album's tracks pre-dated the title cut, with almost all of the sides Hatch had produced from their inaugural collaboration: the 1963 single "Let Me Tell You Baby", being included. ''Downtown'' entered the ''Billboard'' 200 on 13 February 1965 for a 36 weeks chart run with a #21 peak. Despite Clark's subsequent album releases being more focused on the hit sound Hatch had devised for Clark with the "Downtown" single, the ''Downtown'' album would remain Clark's most successful US album release ...
