Museum Card (Finland)
The Finnish museum card (Finnish: ''museokortti'') is the shared museum entrance ticket of the Finnish Museums Association. As of June 2021 the card grants access to 327 museums throughout Finland (including the autonomous region of Åland). The museum card was launched in 2015 and during its first three months 16,000 cards were purchased. At the beginning the card cost €54 for a year and granted access to over 200 museums. Finnish Language
Finnish (endonym: or ) is a Uralic language of the Finnic branch, spoken by the majority of the population in Finland and by ethnic Finns outside of Finland. Finnish is one of the two official languages of Finland (the other being Swedish). In Sweden, both Finnish and Meänkieli (which has significant mutual intelligibility with Finnish) are official minority languages. Ateneum
Ateneum is an art museum in Helsinki, Finland and one of the three museums forming the Finnish National Gallery. It is located in the centre of Helsinki on the south side of Rautatientori square close to Helsinki Central railway station. It has the biggest collections of classical art in Finland. Before 1991 the Ateneum building also housed the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts and University of Art and Design Helsinki. Amos Rex
Amos Rex is an art museum named after publisher and arts patron Amos Anderson located in Lasipalatsi, Mannerheimintie, Helsinki, Finland. It opened in 2018 and rapidly reached international popularity, attracting more than 10,000 visitors in a matter of weeks. History In 2013, the museum announced plans to build a subterranean annex under the Lasipalatsi plaza, located near the museum's premises on Yrjönkatu. The annex was estimated to cost 50 million euros and to also use facilities above the ground in the Lasipalatsi building. Helsinki Art Museum ( fi, Helsingin taidemuseo, sv, Helsingfors konstmuseum), abbreviated as HAM, is an art museum in Helsinki, Finland. It is located in Tennispalatsi in Kamppi. The museum reopened after renovations and rebranding (as HAM) in 2015. The museum is owned and operated by the city of Helsinki. It looks after the city's art collection, containing over 9,000 works. Kunsthalle Helsinki
Kunsthalle Helsinki ( fi, Helsingin Taidehalli, sv, Helsingfors Konsthall) is a non-profit exhibition space founded by various Finnish artist and art associations in 1928. Presenting annually 5–7 major exhibitions and special events, the main focus of the exhibition programme lies in contemporary art, as well as design and architecture.  The Kunsthalle has been a central place for changing exhibitions since the beginning, and does not hold a permanent collection. The Kunsthalle building was designed by Hilding Ekelund and Jarl Eklund. Completed in 1928, the building is a prime example of Nordic Classicism in Finland.
