Sian Kingi (16 December 1974 – 27 November 1987) was a twelve-year-old New Zealand Australians, New Zealand-Australian girl of Māori Australians, Maori descent who was abducted, raped and murdered in Shire of Noosa, Noosa, Queensland in November 1987. Barrie John Watts and Valmae Faye Beck, a married couple, were convicted in 1988 of the much-publicised crime. Watts was sentenced to life imprisonment without parole. The murder of Ebony Jane Simpson (born 22 December 1982) occurred on 19 August 1992 in , New South Wales, Australia. Aged nine years, Simpson was abducted, raped, and murdered by asphyxiation when Andrew Peter Garforth (born 5 August 1963) drowned her. Daniel James Morcombe (19 December 1989 – 7 December 2003) was an Australian boy who was abducted from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, on 7 December 2003 when he was 13 years old.
